Are you the ‘I’m not my best friend’s best friend’ and ‘Sweet as sugar cane’ Joe Eisenbraun? If so my husband and I just totally listened to your ridiculously old EPs that you used to give away at Skelletones.
Unfortunately Skelletones is no more. Mirf and Annette sold out and are starting a bit of a community church I believe; they have two kids so needed to sort out their priorities – Mirf and I had a chat at the closing of Skellies last December where he said something like, ‘Man, that Joe was just absolutely fantastic’ and ended with a little characteristically Mirf giggle. There’s now a cafe/venue called Mix Tape that does a similar thing but without a lot of the heart that made Skelletones what it was.
I like the new stuff. Glad you’ve managed to maintain a bit of your quirkiness from the early EPs
